| Dr. Bill Stroube serves as Executive Vice President
of Strategic Development of Food Research, Inc. In addition to being a
member of the management team he is an active consultant on many Food
Research, Inc. projects. He continues to serve as a full-time faculty
member at the University of Evansville, Evansville, Indiana, a position
that he has held since 1998. He is Professor of Health Service
Administration, and is Director of the undergraduate and graduate programs
in Health Services Administration. Dr. Stroube teaches courses in Health
Care Management & Marketing, as well as Health Care Jurisprudence
and Ethics. He has over thirty years of professional training and
achievement with Corporate, Academic, Medical & Health Care, Pharmaceutical & Nutritional
industries, and within the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.
Prior to joining the University of Evansville, Dr. Stroube
spent twelve years with Bristol-Myers Squibb, a Fortune
100 global pharmaceutical corporation, serving in both
the Pharmaceutical Division and the Mead Johnson Nutritionals
Division. During this time he held accountability as
Manager of Customer Relationship Marketing, as Senior
Marketing Research Analyst, and managed Pharmaceutical
Technical Services for Operations, Quality Assurance,
and Research & Development Support. He has extensive
experience in R&D, quality assurance, and the marketing
of pharmaceuticals, infant formulas and nutritional products.
An eight-year association with the U.S. Food & Drug
Administration preceded Dr. Stroube’s association
with Bristol-Myers Squibb. At the F.D.A. National Headquarters
in Washington, D.C., he served as Research Chemist, and
Radionuclides Program Manager. He primarily functioned
in research, technical and public policy issues, and
collaborated as liaison with other Federal Agencies and
industry. While at the FDA he was responsible for large
projects that resulted in published papers on infant
formulas and new analytical methodologies.
His initial career development was focused in association
with Allied-General Nuclear Services, Barnwell, South
Carolina in the capacity of Analytical Chemist. He has
accumulated extensive recognized research achievement,
and he has published over thirty papers in national and
international technical and management literature. His
current research interests include health care regulations,
medical ethics, health care marketing, and international
health care issues. He frequently teaches summer short
courses on the British health care system at Harlaxton
College in Grantham, England.
Dr. Stroube holds an M.B.A. in finance from the University
of Maryland, and a Ph.D. in Analytical & Nuclear
Chemistry from the University of Kentucky.
